Lolly Pop is an on-stage personae of vocalist/performer Brooke Calder (born 1975), as directed by British composer Ricardo Autobahn and Minneapolis songwriter/producer Monte Moir (The Time). ==Biography== Raised between the United States and Zimbabwe, Africa, Calder moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1994. After being cast in the Prince & NPG Get Wild video, she studied studio production with NPG keyboardist Morris Hayes,〔http://www.synthtopia.com/content/2009/04/04/morris-hayes-plays-the-dbeat/〕 and joined the Twin/Tone Records team as a Publicity intern. Encouraged to become a music personality instead, Calder adopted the moniker Lolly Pop, and created Elektrokitsch act Telephone! with Busy Signals producer Howard W. Hamilton III.〔http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=9035532&albumID=3008242&imageID=73189739#a=3008242&i=73189585〕 During 2005, while Hamilton focused on producing Har Mar Superstar, Pop emerged as a solo artist produced by Monte Moir and the UK's Ricardo Autobahn. In support of her 2006 self-titled debut, the ''GLAMOROUS '06'' tour ensued, with Moir as band leader in an "Electro Pop Operetta".〔http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=9035532&albumID=3008242&imageID=73189739#a=3008242&i=73189509〕 Circa 2007, Pop was video remixed by VJ Danny Morris,〔http://www.isvent.com/isv/remixers_demo.html〕 featured on Rockamerica,〔http://www.rockamericamusic.com/programs/07/jun07.html〕 and appeared in-person at WMC Miami.
